Welcome

Hello and welcome to my website.

I have long loved the landscape not only for its beauty and grandeur, but also the complex nature of the processes that create, destroy and reshape it. From the barely conceivable such as the creation of mountain ranges over millennia as continental plates drift towards each other and vast swathes of rock are pushed skywards, to those we often take for granted like the daily rise and fall of the tides. I believe that wonder can be found everywhere in the natural world if only you take the time to look more closely.

Through photography I hope to capture something of the complexity of nature and instil my own sense of awe in the viewer. Please take some time to browse through my photos in the gallery section of this site and decide for yourself how successful I have been in achieving this goal.
